Thyroid Under active Syndrome. How Do You Know?

The are countless articles and websites that talk about thyroid underactive syndrome but none clearly define what is thyroid underactive syndrome. This article will clearly define and describe the symptom and character of hypothyroidism or underative thyroid syndrome.

The first sign of thyroid underactive syndrome is being overweight or sudden putting on and losing weight . The character of someone who suffers from thyroid underactive syndrome is that the excess weight is not easily reduced by exercise only. That is due to low metabolic and sedentary life style. Many fail to see that it is the combination of proper diets and exercise coupled with a healthy lifestyle that brings the desired reduction of weight but also a sustainable lifestyle that ensures a healthy and active life.

The second sign of thyroid underactive syndrome is fatigue. Lacking in energy and vitality that is caused not by unhealthy diets like cutting out carbs but reduction of overall energy that happens by itself is a sure sign of thyroid underactive syndrome. This condition can be easily rectified by applying the right diets that suites your body type and coupled with regular exercise.

The third sign of thyroid underactive syndrome is depression. It is caused mainly by the drop in vitality that leaves the individual unable to do or keep active for any period of time. One sure way to test that you are not going into the mental hospital is by taking sugar. If the reaction is that you feel better and less down hearted then it is a sure sign that your thyroid is underactive. But the solution is not to take more sugar. That would create another problem; diabetes! Rather by keeping to a strict diet and exercise that help your body keep healthy and active will ensure a steady flow of endorphines that is the bodies natural drug.

The fourth sign of thyroid underactive syndrome is poor memory and poor concentration. The thyroid glen produces necessary hormones and chemicals that the body needs to function properly. One of the necessary organ that is dependent of thyroids is our brain. There are many scientist that have many theory's about how to best address this issue but the proven and safe way has always been use of proper diets and exercise.

The fifth sign of thyroid underactive syndrome is poor digestion or constipation. Again this is due to lack of energy and poor diets. Sometime we are creatures of habits and if you notice very often it is due to our poor habits that aggravate our digestive system by taking foods that are very palatable but not what is required by our body. Knowing what to eat and how much to eat is crucial to our health. At the end of the day, we are responsible for what we put into our mouths. Having a balance diet and a healthy life style is not a matter of choice but is a big part of our reality.

In conclusion, it is my earnest hope that we take the natural ability of our body to heal and adapt by proper use of diets and exercise as a way of life as apposed to the tendency of majority of people who want quick fix and instant gratification. I can assure you that you will be amazed by what your natural body can do if given a chance.
